What kind of make-up can make my eyes look lighter?

I have really dark brown eyes. I wear think black eye liner and use a lot of mascara. I t makes my eyes look slightly lighter but i want them to be even more lighter. any ideas?What kind of make-up can make my eyes look lighter?
Brown eyes are gorgeous, but if you use colors that are too light, it can make your eyes look smaller and darker. I would recommend using a golden tone on the lid. Then on the crease, use a brown that's a few shades lighter than your eyes. Lightly brush a shimmery light color under the brow, and then underneath your eyes, use the same golden tone you used on your eyelid. Don't put too much mascara on the bottom lashes though, because that can make your eyes look too small. If you can make your eyes look bigger, they might look a bit lighter.What kind of make-up can make my eyes look lighter?
use some foundadtion around ur eyes and smodge in a lil lite eyesshodow like white or creame around then
I have dark brown eyes and agree that black eyeliner makes them appear browner/lighter. I have found that the colors that work best with my eyes are golds, browns, greens, and pinks. Its really hard, easier with any other eye color. I think that by making your eyes appear bigger, then the color of the iris will be able to pop out as well. For this you can wear your eyeshadow in several different ways: light at the inside corner, darker on the outside and your lighter color in the middle to make the eyes rounder and pop, skip eyeliner on the bottom which closes your eye, make sure your eyebrows are plucked so the attention is on your eye itself, and curl your lashes.
Use less mascara and even a lighter shade.

To brighten your eyes I would do a foundation/ concealer if you dont all ready. Then I would use a light gold eyeshadow and lightly sweep it over your lid. Then take a dark brown or black eyeliner and put it only in the roots of your uppr lashes. Then apply a white/ silvery eye shadow right under your brows and in the corner of your eyes to give your eyes a more awake look. Then apply a coat of mascara and your good to go. I think that the thick liner eccpecially the black liner would be darkening your eyes even more. Good luck hope this helps.

wear a dark eyeshadow color i know what you have going on so do i!! i use a dark brown eyeliner and lots of mascara and a dark brown eyeshadow or a dark blue looks cute too
almay has a line called bright eyes which has eyeliner eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow
i would use some white eyeshadow lightly right under the ends of your eye brows and then on the corner of your eye closest to your nose!
use a slightly lighter color than your skin tone
if there really dark, srry they're not getting lighter. but like to make them POP use bright colors!!!! like light blue eyeliner and a bright blue or pink eyeshadow.
