I don't wear foundation btw, just eyeliner and mascara, and sometimes eyeshadow.What effects does keeping make-up on overnight have (if any)?
It is horrible to sleep in your make-up. It will prematurely wrinkle your skin, you'll break-out more easily and, yes, your mom is right. Sleeping in you mascara dries your lashes out. When you are asleep you'll rub your face on your pillow causing your lashes to bend and break off or get pulled out in clumps. A woman told me that for every one time you sleep in your make-up it takes a month to repair your skin from it. Yikes ... pinkeye is actually not caused by makeup it is a form of chlamydia so unless you borrowed someones makeup that has pinkeye or decided to use it below their belt, i doubt you are going to get pinkeye.
when you leave you makeup on over night it does fall into you eyes and make them appear pink in the morning. but that's just from the irritation not from pinkeye.
leaving makeup on can aid in getting little styes on the inside of your eyes. they are basically little pimple but really painful and can actually swell up the eyes.
leaving mascara on will dry out your eyelash follicle and your eyelashes will slowly fall off.
i used to do that a long time ago and it would leave blackish circles under my eye. no matter how many times i washed my face. but my cover up would cover it.
and u can break out if u do that.
and its just better to wash ur face before u go to bed :)
No! your eyelashes will not fall out but it more than likely will increase ur chances of getting wrinkles around the eyes faster than peeps who remove they're makeup.
well, your eyes can get swollen or bright red...you could get pink eye from leaving makeup on your eyes...
