Concealer makes it worse? Any kind of treatment you know of?GIRLS: MAKE UP ATTENTION: Help! How do you lessen the looks of black rings under your eyes without concealer?
Concealer does actually make your dark circles worse; if they are not too bad, then I recommend making a cup of chamomile tea (or just steeping the tea bags) and then freezing the tea bags. Place the tea bags on your eyes. I strongly recommend this to any of my clients. Also, if they are dark and refuse to go away after anything you've tried, they might be broken capillaries in your eyes. You would need to see a dermatologist to fix that. There is no effective home remedy. Get lots of sleep and drink a lot of water, and if they don't go away, consider seeing a derm. Hope this helps! =)GIRLS: MAKE UP ATTENTION: Help! try putting something cold on it.
the night before, put cold spoon in the freezer., the next day, (or when they're frozen.) circulate cold spoons on the area till the spoons warm up to your body temperature..
or you could just use a bag of peas (or other small frozen bagged item, peas are more useful because they fit to the form of your eyes.)
if that doesnt work, see a dermatologist. or it might be you sleeping patterns.
good luck.
Well, concealer is still the way to go.. I fell and got a black eye from my sunglesses, right before my son's graduation from college. I had a sample of a product called ';Dermablend Concealer stick';... I had it in a slightly darker color than they would want to sell me. Tan is what I had. Let me tell you, nobody knew I had a black eye.. it's that good. I got a sull stick of it after that at one of the mall department stores. It wa orginally created for burn victims and other such major skin damage. Amazing stuff...
I think Physicians Formula still makes it, but it is a yellow concealer stick, that is supposed to help with dark circles. Also don't go over board, too much makes it worse.
USE A LIGHTER SHADE OF FOUNDATION UNDER YOUR EYES, THEN PUT YOUR FOUNDATION ON OVER.
Using an alpha hydroxy lotion at night is helpful. Make sure you're getting enough iron and vitamin D in your diet.
I don't know any way to conceal them except with concealer. It should be a shade lighter than your skin tone, otherwise the rings will just look darker and bruised. Blend it carefully and leave it for a few minutes while you do something else, then blend foundation or a bit of powder in the right shade for you skin over it.
If you wear dark eye make up, try something lighter and no lines under the eyes. A slight arch in your eyebrows helps to draw attention upward like a mini face lift.
I've read in a magazine that too much concealer does make it look worse. Instead, you can put a bright, illuminating color on the top lid to draw attention upward.
I think cucamber could help
Vitamin K is supposed to help. Avon has a product w/ vitamin K designed for dark undereye circles.
Getting enough sleep consistently is essential.
Avoid wearing dark eyeliner. Curl your lashes and avoid mascara or use clear mascara. If you must use colored mascara, apply it to only your top lashes. Stick w/ soft neutral eyeshadows %26amp; keep your eyebrow immaculately groomed. Limit dramatic makeup colors to your lips.
Use gentle products on your face %26amp; treat any seasonal/environmental allergies. Allergies can make undereye circles worse.
u could try getting more sleep 2 make the black circles go away instead of trying 2 hide them!!
You're using the wrong concealer if you're telling me it makes it worse.
Really concealer is your only friend for this. You might be using the wrong shade.
Make sure yours has a PINK tint to it and is lighter than your complexion. Lots of girls go wrong in this department because they're not using the right kind.
For instance if your concealer has a yellow hint, your asking for a bad makeup job.
Make sure the foundation you put on top of that also is not what's messing up your look.
Good luck on finding a better way to conceal them!
Put an icepack or any sort of cold pack/compress over your eyes; it helps reduce the swelling and puffiness that brings out the undereye circles and makes them visible. Also getting more sleep might help as well as light undereye moisturizing creme.
