For someone who's never worn make-up, how do you suggest I start?

I was thinking to maybe get a makeover, but I know girls who work makeup counters are paid on commission, so I don't want to get ripped off.For someone who's never worn make-up, how do you suggest I start?
just start slow

start with just mascara for a few weeks and keep moving up with eyeliner then eyeshdow... ect how ever you want to do it but font just come to school with BAM makeup!! it has to be subtleFor someone who's never worn make-up, how do you suggest I start?
If you haven't worn makeup then you are beautiful enough and don't need too. If you want to wear some get some mascarra and some eyeliner and just sort of see what works best.
not sure if you have a bare escentuals (also called bare minerals) at your mall - but they have great service and will not make you look made up. plus, it is all natural. i have used it for years!!!

experiment experiment...find what colors suit you ..like take your clothes and put the different colors to see what compliments you....think about what colors people have said gee you look good today in ....start with lip gloss and some mascara then add foundation where needed the buy a cream eye make up( hate powder) then eye liner if you want look up make application..ask a friend how they do theirs( remember what looks good on them may not look good on you) but you can get ideas...ask someone who looks like they know what they are doing
Start with powder, mascara, and a tinted lip gloss. Maybe a light blush or bronzer on your cheek bones.
Go to this website and they'll tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. Whatever you need type it in and they'll probably have a video on how to do that.

Good Luck!!
Go natural. Maybe some powder, tad of mascara, and some clear lip moisturizer.

You can always ask your mom, or your guardian.

You should go modeling style if you are going to show people a transformation of yourself! But if its just a goof off then go light...Base and lipgloss and blush...

For the ultimate transformation!

Foundation...use a double coat with LIQUID...use liquid it stays on

Next apply your blush... A light brownish red orange...NO pink...NO reds...NOTHING like that...just something light and cute!

Next apply eye shadow...get a shiny glitter kind cream colored...and apply it dark to your eyelid...then take your finger...and wipe it right below both eyebrows...NOT alot..just lightly to get that glow!!

Now for the hardest part....applying Mascara!!

Get a NO clump kind...NO GREAT LASH....Get XXL!

Apply alot to your top lashes...evenly..no clumps...if you do wash it off and start over...this gives you experience! Now...DO NOT wear eyeliner unless you really want to...it comes off....take your left overs of mascara on the brush from your top use....and press against your bottom lashes...and then rub across slowly and firm...now...adjust them straight....and do your other bottoms...now you should have too much on the bottom......take your finger get it slightly wet....and push up under your eye everywhere under ONLY your BOTTOM lashes....and when its off..rinse and redo to the other eye....its simple once you get the hang of it...you will be flawless and BEAUTIFUL...which you proly are without make up:)

I hope this helped you!!....

Get a teen magazine and look for tips. Remeber less is more.
if you have blemishes, start with concealing.

just some tinted moisturiser, concealor and translucent face powder.

if you have perfect skin, SKIP FOUNDATION.

having too much make up on your face will eventually strip your skin off its natural skin colour making you look pale.

just start with a little mascara, some blusher, and lip gloss. it's good enough for a beginner.

and for blusher. if you want a sophisticated look, apply them upwards from your cheeks till your temple area. if you want a cute dolly look, apply them just lightly on the apple on your cheeks, or horizontally out from your cheeks and then another swipe 45 degrees downwards from your cheeks.
